Originally from Michigan, I recently moved to Ohio to start my Ph.D. in Communication & Information at Kent State University. Before coming to Kent State University, I received my M.A. in Communication and B.A. in Organizational Communication from Western Michigan University.
My research focuses on Human-Machine Communication and privacy management and disclosure. Specifically, I seek to understand how humans communicate identity and negotiate privacy when interacting with and through communicative AI and computer-mediated communication contexts.
In addition to my research, I am a political consultant specializing in campaign start-up logistics, finance, digital media, staff recruitment, and political strategy. Campaigns have been a passion of mine, where I put a tremendous amount of heart into the work I do to help foster change in a community. That's why I'm also a proud member of the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC).
During my free time, I enjoy exploring nature and taking my dog Luna for long walks. I also enjoy coding in my free time.
